Four generations and counting...
In 1958 while working on small appliances, Clarence Schmitt decided he wanted more for his family, so he started working on heating, Air conditioning and refrigeration with a partner. He was self-taught and ambitious to start a name in the heating and air conditioning field.
After his son Gerald (Jerry) Schmitt returned from the military, he started in the business with his father and another partner. It was then that the Schmitt name became a staple in the Evansville and Tri state area in heating, cooling and refrigeration. In the late 70’s after Clarence Schmitt retired, Jerry Schmitt pursued his own company with his own vision. Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration not only in residential, but in the commercial and Industrial markets also, with the same family values in mind.
In 2001, Jerry’s son Brian with his wife Tracy took over the Schmitt name in the heating and cooling industry with the same principles in mind. Prompt courteous service with the promise the customer will still deal with the owners and family.
Now with his oldest sons Cody and Christopher are in the business, Brian Schmitt is 4 generations strong and licensed in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Illinois offering sales, service and installation of residential and commercial heating, cooling and refrigeration.
With 3 sons, a daughter, 2 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter, Brian Schmitt plans on giving the Evansville and Tri State area many more generations to come and rely on for great service, great people and prices that won’t break the bank.
